"SNAP" "BANG" "POW" Onomatopoeia update!


Coincidences do happen! New update on a Wednesday once more!

This weeks focus has been targeted mostly on a dearly missed feature from Adiasis! Onomatopoeias is something we have been discussing about internally for a long time since first starting development on Orderless. But with new motivation gained from the players the opinion has swayed, and the onomatopoeias are slowly being introduced into Orderless!

Since it takes a while to add these effects we’ve decided to release the first batch dedicated to the player characters, Dot and Cass. Hopefully we’ll be able to implement them on the enemies until the end of the month. But no promises!

Anyhow, here comes the usual patch notes..

With this patch we have:

  • Fixed rounding issue with both the enemy and player health bars in combat.
  • Solved sorting issue on the trees in the overworld.
  • Solved issue with Adiasis not accurately telegraphing certain moves.
  • Text speed not matching intended pacing of dialog.
  • Certain audio cues not matching up with the vfx in combat.

And much more! Totally!

There will always be some fix or change made in every patch that we will either forget to write down or feel is to convoluted to properly express in these minor updates. But hopefully we haven’t forgotten to mention any of the really important ones!
