Patch Notes Wednesday!
No. This will not be a weekly occurrence! Though it would be great with consistent updates…
Anyhow.. This update has mostly been focused on smashing bugs and fixing minor annoyances that slipped through the cracks of the recent major update. Think of it as a day one patch! ;)
With this patch we have:
- Fixed possible softlock when dying to Ashley mid second phase.
- Aligned audio cues and fixed animation errors in all player and enemy characters.
- Removed bug where your health is set to the value restored from items when used outside of combat.
- Removed bug where if you use a controller when assigning stats at level up, the confirmation button is instantly pressed.
- Fixed dialog prompt so that when using a controller it will match the correct input.
- Items will be restored at checkpoints.
- Fixed so that Ashley’s eye will play the correct sfx when entering combat.
- Fixed so that the main title image isn’t as crunchy.
- Changed so that Ashley will only use double shot when both players are alive.
And finally
- Banter plays dialog sounds.
There are a lot more changes made in this patch that focuses on visual errors, audio balancing, etc.. But we felt these were the most important changes to highlight.
Thank you all who have played the latest version of our game! We’ve worked hard these last 4 months to create a product that better reflect where we want to take this game. We love all the feedback and support we’ve gotten so far! And we look forward to release further patches (as well as content updates) in the near future!
